#MarketContractSigning | Coffee growers in Region 12 signed a market contract with A to Z Group LCC on October 23, 2023, in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The signing came after the company visited the coffee farms of the participating farmers on October 20-21, 2023.
Department of Agriculture 12 OIC Regional Executive Director Dr. John Pascual witnessed the signing and extended his full support to the coffee industry.
The participating coffee farmers were Kublai Kusen of Maitum, Mario Tacan of Kinilis, Jimmy Buan of Kinilis Farmers Cooperative, Jennifer Farillon of Masiag Farmers and Coffee Growers, Keytodac Farmer Elmor Seguma, Denz de Ramos, and Rey John Basco.
The market contract signing is a significant development for the coffee industry in Region 12. It is expected to provide the participating farmers with a stable and reliable market for their coffee products, which will help them improve their income and livelihood.
