#PRDP | Residents especially farmers of Barangay Sibawan, Kidapawan City, will soon enjoy a lower production cost of farm produce as the DA-PRDP Regional Project Coordination Office 12 (DA-PRDP RPCO XII) along with the Kidapawan City LGU broke ground yesterday, November 18, 2024, to mark the start of the construction of the 3.34 km long farm-to-market road project funded under the PRDP Scale Up amounting to 45 Million Pesos.
Engr. Jocelyn F. Torres, Ph.D., IBUILD component head, reminded the stakeholders to take care of the project in hopes that this will increase their income and eventually improve their lives. Meanwhile, City Mayor Pao Evangelista asked them to join in monitoring the project and asked the contractors to finish the project ahead of the targeted 9-month completion date.
The event ended with a Pre-construction Conference and Infrastructure Quality Monitoring and Durability System (IQMDS) Orientation to ensure the smooth flow of the project implementation and brief the contractors, LGU, barangay officials, and PRDP personnel on their roles in the project.
