#PPP | Corn farmers from Banga and Surallah, South Cotabato were gathered by DA-XII Regional Executive Director Roberto “Toto” T. Perales for an orientation on the Price Protection Program (PPP) on April 22, 2025.
During the event, Director Perales shared his vision for agricultural transformation through the PPP, highlighting its aim to shield farmers from volatile market prices and safeguard their livelihoods. The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) and the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) also expressed their support for the initiative, emphasizing their commitment to promote economic stability among farmers.
