DA-12 Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales visits Vergara Homeowners Association Community Garden in Brgy. City Heights, General Santos City.
The said garden is a nominee for the National Search for the Best Urban & Peri-Urban Agriculture Garden along with Keisha’s Garden located at Brgy. Buayan also in the said city.
National evaluators from DA-NUPAP Central Office, Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI), Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) and Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) recently facilitated field validation and site visit to the two entries.
