#DAprojectsEvaluation | The DA Constructors’ Performance Evaluation System- Implementing Unit (CPES-IU) conducted an evaluation of the constructors’ performance for the two ongoing and one completed agri-infrastructure projects implemented in the region on August 27-30, 2024.
The CPES team was composed of agricultural engineers from Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (BAFE), DA RFO CAR and Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF).
They evaluated the on-going 1) Establishment of Rice Processing Facility Center III in Brgy. Liwanay, Banga, South Cotabato; 2) Establishment of Rice Processing Facility Center III in Brgy. Bulacanon, Makilala, Cotabato; and the completed 3) Construction of Warehouse in Brgy. San Jose, Norala, South Cotabato by using the CPES which measures the performance of the constructors in terms of workmanship, timeliness, environmental, safety and health, quality of materials and resource deployment.
The CPES is a system which uses a uniform set of criteria that rates the performance of constructors of government infrastructure projects and also develops a centralized database on the performance rating of constructors for licensing, pre-qualification, quality improvement, and other purposes that contributes in ensuring that infrastructure projects conform with the specified requirements of project owners.
