The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) XII successfully held the culmination of the 2025 Womenโs Month Celebration alongside the launch of the Triple H Project on April 2, 2025 at Koronadal City, South Cotabato to ensure that both gender equality and overall wellness remain key priorities within and outside the agency.
Marking the conclusion of the Womenโs Month celebration, the first part of the program emphasized the vital role of women across all sectors and their power to drive national growth and development. Guided by the theme, โBabae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,โ the event underscored the importance of amplifying women’s voices and upholding their rights.
A key highlight of the program was the SHE AWARDS, which honored the outstanding contributions and achievements of DA-RFO XIIโs female employees. The main award was presented to Janeth E. Fernandez of the Field Operations Division, followed by Jeneffer R. Bulawan of the Integrated Laboratory Division in second place, and Aniceta S. Pastor of the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division in third place. This recognition emphasizes the agencyโs commitment to inclusivity and gender equality and reinforcing these values as fundamental pillars for sustainable development.
The second part introduced the DA-RFO XII Wellness Program, designed to foster a healthier and more productive workplace. Mr. Lito M. Salvo, Supervising Administrative Officer and Gender and Development Program Focal Person, presented the project mechanics of the Happy and Healthy Habit (Triple H) Project, followed by an insightful lecture by resource speaker Dr. Allen Kurt M. Valdez on โStrategies for Optimal Wellnessโ and โThe Silent Killer: Smoking and Your Health.โ The second part concluded with a medical consultation session conducted by Dr. Valdez for DA-RFO XII employees and farmers, further reinforcing the officeโs commitment to employee well-being.
By organizing these initiatives, DA-RFO XII continues to promote a healthy work environment, enhance job satisfaction, improve productivity, and strengthen workplace relationships that will surely ripple a positive effect.
