#RFFA | The Department of Agriculture (DA) 12 has taken significant steps to support local rice farmers affected by rising agricultural input costs. On October 17, 2024, the DA – Rice Program distributed 323 unclaimed cash assistance under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Rice Farmers Financial Assistance (RCEF-RFFA) to farmers in Senator Ninoy Aquino. Following this, 678 additional cash assistance were distributed in the municipality of Bagumbayan on October 18.
This initiative is part of the agency’s broader efforts to alleviate the financial burdens faced by smallholder farmers in Region 12. DA personnel are committed to ensuring that these vital resources reach those in need, reinforcing the government’s dedication to agricultural sustainability and farmer welfare.
