#Rice Program | Department of Agriculture 12 under Rice Program concluded its 3-day Refresher Course on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Certification for rice seed growers in the region from August 7-9, 2024, in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
Rice specialists from different agencies shared their expertise on the Morphology and Growth Stages of Rice. Other techniques include the Palay Check System and other planting practices which truly benefit the rice farmers in region 12 were also discussed. The training aims to enhance the technical capabilities of potential seed growers and to help ensure the availability of quality rice seeds in the locality.
It also enabled the participants to improve their knowledge and skills in producing high-quality inbred rice seed to help them increase productivity and profitability.
