#PriceProtectionPRogram | The Department of Agriculture (DA)-12 conducted a simultaneous orientation on the Price Protection Program (PPP) for rice and corn farmers in the municipalities of Alamada, Pigcawayan, and Banisilan, Cotabato Province, today, April 15, 2025.
During the event, DA-12 Regional Technical Director for Operations Zaldy M. Boloron shared the vision of Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales for agricultural transformation through the implementation of the PPP. He emphasized the program’s primary objective of protecting farmers from unstable market prices and ensuring the sustainability of their livelihoods.
The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) and the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) also expressed their support for the initiative, emphasizing their commitment promoting the financial stability of farmers.
