#SPISproject | The Department of Agriculture (DA) 12, through its Regional Agricultural Engineering Division (RAED) and the Organic Agriculture Program (OAP), recently turned over a solar-powered irrigation system (SPIS) project to nine farmer- beneficiaries from the Antipas Organic Farmers Association in Antipas, Cotabato Province.
The SPIS project, which cost more than PhP741-thousand, was funded by the OAP. It is expected to benefit three hectares of farmland in the area and improve the livelihood of the farmers.
