To provide an opportunity for the team to review their progress and celebrate their accomplishments, the Department of Agriculture (DA RFO-12) Field Operations Division (FOD) organized a Mid-Year Assessment on August 29-30, 2024, in Glan, Sarangani Province.
Regional Executive Director (RED) Roberto T. Perales delivered an encouraging message to the FOD staffs, emphasizing their core mission of supporting farmers. He urged the team not to be satisfied with their routine tasks, saying, “Ang pinaka-mission natin ay ang tumulong sa mga farmers. Dito sa DA, huwag lang tayo makontento sa karaniwang mga ginagawa natin. Kailangan natin magkaroon ng ambitious plan. Sa mga ambitious plan at dreams na yan, let’s wake up together and work together.”
During the assessment, outstanding DA-RFO 12 Programs were also recognized for their contributions. The AMIA/MCRA Program secured the 6th spot, followed by the 4K’s Program in 5th place. The SAAD Program was awarded 4th place, while the Rice Program took the 3rd spot. The Corn Program ranked 2nd, and the HVCDP earned the top position as the best-performing DA program. These recognitions highlight the team’s hard work and dedication to improving agriculture in the region.
