#AgriTayoSOXNews | Department of Agriculture (DA) XII Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales leads the 1st Regional Management Committee meeting today, January 30, 2025, in Koronadal City.
Highlights of the meeting was focused on food security by the National Food Authority and the implementation of Binhi e-Padala or the Digital technology-aided RCEF seed distribution that aids in recording of seed claims and releases. The meeting, attended by key stakeholders also tackles various issues and concerns were addressed to further improve agricultural practices and outcomes. In addition, it was also highlighted that the DA Region XII was recognized as the top-ranking region in coffee production nationwide.
Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales also emphasizes that the Department of Agriculture and its stakeholders are one body—united with purpose and driven by a shared vision, each part of the body has a vital role in shaping a resilient and progressive agricultural sector.
