ππ ππππππ: The Department of Agriculture-National Organic Agriculture Program and the Agricultural Training Institute hosted the very first International Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Summit in Quezon City from November 25-29, 2024.
With the theme, βCelebrating 20 Years of PGS Development, Growth, and Achievements,β this global gathering marks the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the PGS. Said activity was also attended by representatives from Region XII and highlights two decades of empowering local farmers, advancing sustainable agricultural practices, and strengthening trust in organic certification.
