𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎: The Department of Agriculture–Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Regional Project Coordination Office XII officially launched the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Php61.9 million National Highway Junction Sitio El Ulit Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) on November 13, 2024.

Located in Brgy. Bukay Pait, Tantangan, South Cotabato, the three-kilometer FMR represents a significant milestone in improving local infrastructure in the region and is expected to boost the agricultural sector by facilitating easier transport of goods, particularly mangoes, which are the primary commodity of said barangay.

This subproject is part of ongoing efforts to enhance rural development in the region and is expected to improve the overall efficiency of the supply chain for mango farmers, allowing them to reach more consumers.

With the construction expected to be completed in the coming months, the local community anticipates significant economic benefits from improved connectivity and better business opportunities.
