𝙄𝙉 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙎: The Department of Agriculture–Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) Regional Project Coordination Office XII recently held a groundbreaking ceremony on November 12, 2024 to officially commence the construction of the Php46.7 million National Highway Junction Crossing Fale-Riverside Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) in Sto. Niño, South Cotabato.

The new 2.6-kilometer FMR aims to boost agricultural productivity and enhance transportation efficiency in the municipality by providing local farmers with improved market access and reducing post-harvest losses.

In addition, the project underscores the government’s commitment to supporting cassava farmers, the region’s primary commodity producers, and thereby strengthening Sto. Niño’s agricultural sector and driving broader economic growth across the province.
