#SerbisyoCaravan | The Department of Agriculture Region 12 launched the Peace Farm Project at Sitio Datal Fitak in Brgy. Assumption, Koronadal City, South Cotabato on October 4, 2024.
In partnership with the Knights of Columbus, the event was led by PRLEC Chairman Assistant Secretary James Layug and Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales.
This communal farming initiative aims to combat poverty and hunger in the area, particularly in communities affected by conflict and vulnerable to instability.
Government agencies such as; TESDA, BSWM, DENR, NCIP, PIA, BFAR, PCA, PCC, NDA, AFP, City Agriculture Office also pledged their commitment to support this effort of the DA 12.
