#DrugTest | The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XII conducted a drug testing activity on January 15 and 16, 2024.
This activity was carried out in accordance with the provision of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, as amended by RA10640. It was also conducted following the guidelines set forth by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular (MC) 5 Series of 2019, which pertains to the Mandatory Random Drug Test for Public Officials and Employees, and amended by CSC MC 13, which establishes and institutionalizes the Drug-Free Workplace Policy in the Department of Agriculture.
The drug test was organized to ensure that its employees to promote a healthy and productive work environment, promoting a drug-free workplace.
DA XII believes that having drug-free employees will boost productivity and create a positive work culture while ensuring safety within the organization.
