On April 22nd every year, the Philippines observes Earth Day through Proclamation No. 1481, s. 2008. This month raises awareness about the gravity of ecological degradation and destruction in the country that threatens the quality of life for many Filipinos.
The Department of Agriculture RFO-XII in leadership of Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales joins the campaign in accordance with the theme “Planet vs. Plastics”.
