#TnalakFarmersDay2024 | As part of the 2024 T’nalak Festival, the South Cotabato Provincial Agriculture Office hosted a vibrant Farm Walk and Farmers’ Day at the Provincial Nursery and Demonstration Farm in Brgy. Reyes, Banga, South Cotabato on July 16, 2024.

Farmers and fisherfolk from across the province came together to explore innovative farming practices and new agri-fishery technologies showcased at OPAG’s demo farm. Key topics included: Inland fish production, livestock production, vermicomposting, hydroponics, nursery management, organic concoctions, food processing, Vegetable production, and Biological control agents.

Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales delivered an inspiring speech to enlighten and motivate our hardworking farmers. He also thanked everyone who made the said event a successful one.

Private companies also participated, presenting their products such as corn seeds, fertilizers, farm machinery, and equipment.

A highlight of the event was the “PINAKA CONTEST,” featuring the longest and heaviest harvests from our diligent farmers and fisherfolks.
