The Gawang Bangsamoro Farmers Association (FA) in Sultan Kudarat Province has generated Php 987,624 from the sale of over 1,624 sacks of corn harvested from 29 hectares under ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ – ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ (๐๐-๐๐๐๐) ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐.
The association began planting in the last week of July 2024 and harvested from the second week of September through the end of October. However, one member’s harvest is still pending due to heavy rains that delayed planting.
Corn production increased by 30% as a result of the SAAD program’s support and interventions for the Gawang Bangsamoro Farmers Association.
