1,600 rice farmers of Cotabato Province receive financial assistance worth PhP5,000.00 each, during the nationwide simultaneous Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat held at the Cotabato Provincial Capitol, today, September 13, 2024.
Under the Department of Agriculture 12 Rice Programโs Rice Farmers Financial Assistance (RFFA) Program, assistance was given to qualified farmers registered in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) from the municipalities of Pikit and Midsayap.
During the event, His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. along with DA Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr. led the nationwide launching of the Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program and the ceremonial turnover of the Interventions Monitoring Card (IMC) in Nueva Vizcaya.
In Cotabato Province, Governor Lala Taliรฑo Mendoza with APCO-Cotabato Province Rey Domingo, representing DA12 Regional Executive Director Roberto Perales, led the turnover of IMC cards to farmer-beneficiaries and the launching Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program.
The Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat was participated by various National Line Agencies and Private Sectors that offer programs and assistance to the marginalized sector in the country.
