March 28 2025, General Santos CityโThe Ancestral Domain Planning and Social Preparation Component (AD-PLAN) of MIADP and NCIP XII facilitate the Joint Technical Review (JTR) of the Ancestral Domain Agricultural Implementation Framework (ADAIF) of the Blaan and Tagakaulo Ancestral Domain in the Municipality of Malungon, Sarangani.
The ADAIF looks very closely into the available Value Chain Analysis (VCA) reports, Provincial/City Commodity Investment Plans (P/CCIPs), and other development plans on inclusive agri-fishery development. This will serve as a tool for the ICCs/IPs to build partnerships and mobilize resources for the implementation of the identified infrastructure and enterprise sub-projects as well as investment pooling with other partners and market linking.
The members of the Indigenous Peoplesโ Structure (IPS) of the AD, being the proponents of this document, joined the various participatory planning processes that cover priority and emerging agri-fishery and non-timber commodities. The intervention will identify the supported commodities, constraints, opportunities, plans, projects, activities, locations, and estimated budgets. The procedures followed a rigorous consultative process on the ground for the development of the ADAIF and the corresponding infrastructure (Component 2) and enterprise (Component 3) sub-projects.
The review process was participated in by the representatives of the RPCO, NCIP, LGU, and the Project Support Office online.
