#InPhotos | More than 500 farmers gathered in Didtaras, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat on February 27, 2025, during the Farmers General Assembly organized by the local government unit. The assembly brought together farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural stakeholders to discuss pressing issues and explore opportunities for growth and development.
DA-12 Regional Executive Director Roberto Perales shared his transformative vision for agriculture through his Price Protection Program (PPP). In his keynote address, Director Perales inspired members of Farmer Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) with his unwavering commitment to supporting farmers and ensuring their economic stability. He emphasized the program’s potential to safeguard farmers’ incomes by protecting them from volatile market prices.
The assembly also provided a vital platform for open dialogue between DA and LGU officials, and the farming community. Farmers seized the opportunity to voice their concerns, ask questions, and gain clarity on the implementation and benefits of DA’s various programs and projects.
