National finalists for the ๐’๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐”๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ข-๐”๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐€๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐†๐š๐ซ๐๐ž๐ง, ๐•๐„๐‘๐†๐€๐‘๐€ ๐‚๐Ž๐Œ๐Œ๐”๐๐ˆ๐“๐˜ ๐†๐€๐‘๐ƒ๐„๐ and ๐Š๐„๐ˆ๐’๐‡๐€’๐’ ๐†๐€๐‘๐ƒ๐„๐, both from General Santos City, represented Region XII at the Culminating Activity held at Southwoods Mall in Biรฑan, Laguna, earlier today.

Vergara Community Garden, an entry in the Microgarden Category, received a Special Citation for ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐’๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐„๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐”๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ข-๐ฎ๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐€๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž. Meanwhile, Keisha’s Garden, an entry in the Macrogarden Category, was awarded ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ -๐„๐๐ ๐ž ๐”๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐€๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ.

Both gardens had previously won the Regional Best UPA Garden award, qualifying them for the national competition.

ATI-RTC XII, in partnership with DA-RFO 12 and the entire NUPAP Team, congratulates the two gardens for their significant contributions to urban gardening and thanks them for representing the region in this prestigious event.
