National finalists for the ๐๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข-๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ and ๐๐๐๐๐๐’๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐, both from General Santos City, represented Region XII at the Culminating Activity held at Southwoods Mall in Biรฑan, Laguna, earlier today.
Vergara Community Garden, an entry in the Microgarden Category, received a Special Citation for ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ข-๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐. Meanwhile, Keisha’s Garden, an entry in the Macrogarden Category, was awarded ๐๐๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ -๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐๐ฌ.
Both gardens had previously won the Regional Best UPA Garden award, qualifying them for the national competition.
ATI-RTC XII, in partnership with DA-RFO 12 and the entire NUPAP Team, congratulates the two gardens for their significant contributions to urban gardening and thanks them for representing the region in this prestigious event.
