The National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program held a technology transfer initiative for hydroponics at the London Beach Resort and Hotel ,Gen. Santos City.
This program aims to equip farmers and other selected participants with the expertise and skills necessary for the effective implementation and management of hydroponic system.
It includes hands-on workshops, demonstrations, and educational materials that cover various components of hydroponics, such as nutrient solutions, growing media, and crop selection.
The training and discussions were led by Kian Castaneda from Organikian Urban Farm.
