#InPhotos | On August 21, 2024, officials from the Municipality of Tampakan paid a courtesy visit to PSO Mindanao’s Deputy Project Director at the PSO Mindanao Office in Davao City.

Tampakan, a municipality in South Cotabato, has proposed two key subprojects for funding under the PRDP Scale-Up, namely, the “Concreting of San Isidro-Buto Farm-to-Market Road with Bridge” and the “Concreting of Pula-Bato-Aspang-Little Miasong-Garciano-Palo 19 FMR.”

Mayor Leonard Escobillo, along with his team, discussed the progress of these proposals with PSO Mindanao Deputy Project Director Carlene C. Collado, CPA, who led the meeting. During the discussion, component units provided updates on the status of compliance requirements and other essential project documents.

Under the PRDP Scale-Up, the I-BUILD Component will prioritize the development of climate-resilient access and value chain infrastructure. This initiative aims to enhance food distribution hubs and logistics systems, ensuring unimpeded mobility and access. By reducing transport, handling, and hauling costs, the project seeks to improve the quality and pricing of food commodities and other agri-fishery products in target markets.

The I-BUILD Component is responsible for managing the rural infrastructure development portfolio and processing infrastructure development proposals aligned with the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP). (𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐌. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐨 | 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐮𝐪𝐮𝐞,𝐏𝐒𝐎 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨)
