#InPhotos | Over 300 rice and corn farmers gathered on April 8, 2025, in Koronadal City and the Municipality of Sto. Niรฑo, South Cotabato for the orientation of the Price Protection Program (PPP). Said program aims to boost rice and corn production in Region 12 through clustering and consolidation, encouraging farmers to work together for greater productivity and higher income.
DA-RFO XII Regional Executive Director Roberto T. Perales, on the other hand, presented his vision for agricultural transformation through the PPP, emphasizing the programโs goal of protecting farmers from unstable market prices and securing their livelihoods. The Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC) and the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) also expressed their support, highlighting their shared commitment to ensuring farmersโ economic stability.
