#PRDPScaleUP | A PhP180Million road project commences construction in Barangay Malangag and Malire in Antipas, Cotabato Province as the Department of Agriculture Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) and the Local Government Unit of Antipas breaks ground to mark the start of construction of the farm-to-market road project on August 13, 2024.
The 10.2-kilometer road funded under DA-PRDP Scale Up and LGU is targeted to benefit 2,700 farming households with 3,600 hectares of rice, corn, and high-value crop production areas along the road influence area.
“Ari nga proyekto para gid ni ang aton nga mga baligya sa syudad mabarato na ang aton nga trucking” (This project will lower the hauling cost of our products going to the market), Barangay Malangag Chairman Jimmy Carias said as he expressed his gratitude for the realization of the long dream road project.
