A PhP50 Million state-of-the-art Rice Processing Center III is set to rise in Makilala, Cotabato.
Department of Agriculture RFO 12 OIC-Regional Executive Director John B. Pascual led the ground-breaking ceremony earlier today as part of the 56th Annual General Assembly of the Budasan Communal Irrigators Association at Brgy. Bulacanon, Makilala, Cotabato Province.
Budasan Communal Irrigators Association will handle the operation of the said facility which will be equipped with newly introduced technologies to help farmers from the town and its neighboring areas increase their income by reducing post-harvest losses and produce high-quality milled rice.
The ceremony was joined by local government officials of the said town.
