#PressCon | Isulan, Sultan Kudarat – During the Department of Agriculture Day and National Rice Awareness Month Celebration today, November 18, a press conference was held to promote various programs and initiatives undertaken by the DA 12 and Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat (SK) in the agriculture and fishery sector.
DA 12 OIC Regional Executive Director Dr. John Pascual and Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu discuss to media partners about their plans to boost coffee production in the region and Sultan Kudarat’s bid to become the “Coffee Capital of the Philippines”.
Dr. Pascual highlighted the importance of SK’s coffee farming, emphasizing the province’s potential to become a major producer of high-quality coffee beans.
Governor Mangudadatu also emphasized the provincial government’s commitment to support the coffee industry in Region 12.
