#PriceProtectionProgram | To support and empower more farmers, over 300 corn growers from Makilala, Cotabato participated in the Price Protection Program orientation held on April 16, 2025.
The program aims to uplift farmers by offering vital support including agricultural inputs, financial aid, and, most importantly, a secured market for their harvests. This initiative helps ensure that farmers receive fair and stable prices for their crops.
The event also served as a crucial venue for open dialogue between representatives from the Department of Agriculture (DA), local government units (LGUs), and the farming community. Farmers took the chance to express their concerns, seek clarification, and deepen their understanding of the implementation and benefits of various DA programs and projects.
