#InPhotos | The Professional Regulatory Board of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (PRB-ABE), led by Chairman Hon. Ariodear C. Rico and PRC Region XII representative Deanna Jezrah H. Jontilano, conducted an official inspection and monitoring activity at the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office (DA-RFO) XII in Koronadal City, South Cotabato on May 20, 2025.
This initiative was carried out in accordance with Republic Act Nos. 8981 and 10915, along with PRC Resolution No. 1471 (s. 2021), to assess the compliance of DA-RFO XII with the professional, ethical, and technical standards governing Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (ABE) practices.
The inspection focused on evaluating employee credentials, adherence to engineering standards, institutional support for professional development, and the alignment of organizational practices with existing laws and regulations.
The team found commendable efforts by DA-RFO XII in supporting its ABEs, including training initiatives and engineering project supervision. These measures aim to enhance the efficiency, compliance, and professional development within the DA-RFO XII, ensuring sustained excellence in agricultural engineering services across the region.
