The Project Support Office (PSO) Mindanao Cluster continues to drive progress in project implementation, highlighted by the turnover of financial support to subproject proponent groups.
The Limulan Sustainable Livelihood Association, represented by its Treasurer, Elmer S. Sagnip, received the second tranche of funding for the “Coffee Processing and Marketing” subproject in Sultan Kudarat on November 28, 2024 at PSO Mindanao Office.
This initiative is supported through the Department of Agriculture–Philippine Rural Development Project’s (DA-PRDP) Second Additional Financing and the European Union Co-Financing Grant (AF2-EU).
PSO Mindanao Deputy Project Director Carlene C. Collado, CPA, I-REAP Component Head Cherrilyn L. Baylon, and Finance Unit representative Christopher Laurence Landig graced the turnover ceremony. Their presence underscores DA-PRDP’s unwavering commitment to empowering rural communities and fostering sustainable development through collaborative partnerships and strategic investments.
The Coffee Processing and Marketing subproject aims to uplift livelihoods by enhancing coffee value addition and creating new market opportunities for the association’s produce. Through this initiative, DA-PRDP reaffirms its mission to advance rural enterprise and improve the quality of life in agricultural communities. (Joy M. Montecalvo,PSO Mindanao)
