#MOASigningforDairyCommodity | The Provincial Government of Sarangani, together with the PRDP-RPCO XII I-PLAN Component, conducted a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on July 31, 2024, in General Santos City.
The MOA unites various government agencies to address critical issues and gaps within the dairy cattle value chain. It also emphasizes the need for improved access to finance and markets, as well as effective institutional arrangements and inter-agency collaboration.
This marks the beginning of an inter-agency convergence aimed at institutionalizing support for the implementation of the Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP) for dairy cattle which is a significant step towards enhancing the dairy cattle industry in Sarangani Province.
Furthermore, this activity outlines the commitments necessary to ensure the successful implementation of the plan, which will enhance the local dairy sector, addressing both immediate needs and long-term sustainability challenges in the said province.
