A team from the Project Support Office (PSO) Mindanao and the Regional Project Coordination Office (RPCO) visited Sultan Kudarat Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu at the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Capitol on June 25, 2024 to discuss their FMR subproject.
The meeting focused on the “Concreting of NHJ Lagubang-Banali-Buklod-TacUpis-Basag Farm to Market Road Kilometer” subproject in the Municipality of Senator Ninoy Aquino, set to be funded under the PRDP Scale-Up.
The management meeting served as a platform for the Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP) to engage with partner Local Government Units (LGUs) to discuss and address issues and concerns. This fosters a better understanding and smoother implementation of subprojects on the ground.
Christian Xerxis Hernandez, the PSO Mindanao Finance Unit Head, led the team and presented the implications of the equity counterpart required from the implementing LGU. Additionally, the RPCO provided updates on the pipeline subprojects and the status of pending clearances for their province.
For his part, Governor Datu Pax Ali Mangudadatu expressed his commitment to supporting all PRDP subprojects within the Province of Sultan Kudarat. (Joy M. Montecalvo, PSO Min)
