The Regional Crop Protection Center of the Department of Agriculture 12 showcased various technologies to farmers all over the Region during the RCPC Farmersβ Day cum Mass Distribution of Bio Control Agents held today, September 17, 2024, in Tacurong City.
Farmers coming from different provinces shared their stories and testimonies on how these Biological Control Agents changed the way they farm and vouched for at least 90 percent effectivity of BioCons in battling farm pests, they also emphasized the importance of reducing the use of synthetic chemicals and adapt a much healthier and environment-friendly farming practices.
The event concluded with a mass distribution of biocons to farmer-beneficiaries in the region. Farmers can access these technologies by coordinating with the Regional Crop Protection Center located at Bo. 2, EJC Montilla, Tacurong City.
