To strengthen and efficiently systematized the damage reporting in the agriculture sector, the Department of Agriculture through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Unit of the Regional Office conducted a Retooling Workshop on the Damage Assessment and Reporting System (DARS), and the rolling out of the new Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Information System (DRRMIS) in General Santos City.
This activity were facilitated by the agencies’ Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service Office and were participated by the damage report officers from different provincial and municipal agriculture offices.
