𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐀 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐡𝐩 𝟑𝟕𝟗𝐊 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐘𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐀𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞
Driven by the need to boost productivity and improve post-harvest processes, the Rivera Palay Farmers Association earned a gross income of Php 379,310 from their initial corn harvest on 8 hectares of land as of October 14, 2024. The Association has a total of 40 hectares planted with corn, and it is estimated that the entire crop will be harvested by the end of October.
Today, the Rivera Palay Farmers Association held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate their new Corn Sheller, which was provided by 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟐 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐃𝐀-𝐒𝐀𝐀𝐃) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝟐. The event also included a demonstration of the Corn Sheller, showcasing its functionality and the benefits it will bring to the Association’s operations.
