πππ°π¬ πππ₯πππ¬π | SAAD Region 12 capacitates 150 farmers on Basic Accounting Training
To equip the farmers with essential financial management skills, the Marketing Assistance and Enterprise Development (MAED) Unit of the Department of Agriculture – Special Area for Agricultural Development 12 (DA-SAAD 12) Program has conducted a seminar on βBasic Accounting for Non-Accountants: Preparation of Financial Statementβ held last June 4-5, 2024 at Agua Frio Garden Resort, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The two-day activity was conducted in two simultaneous batches with the participation of thirty (30) farmer associations (FAs), which include sixty (60) participants from South Cotabato, thirty (30) participants from Sultan Kudarat and sixty (60) participants from Cotabato Province. Each FA was represented by its President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Auditor or Bookkeeper to ensure proper cascading of the tools to their respective members.
