YFC-awardees in the region proudly showcased their local products to the senator and shared the development and their efforts in sustaining the projects from the Department of Agriculture (DA).
The Gensan City Food Terminal Multi-purpose Cooperative also provided updates on the assistance that they received from the agency’s Enhanced Kadiwa Financial Grant Program and Philippine Rural Development Project.
“Region 12 is the future of farming industry in the country,” said Sen. Marcos.
The dialogue was also attended by Assistant Secretary for Consumer Affairs and DA Spokesperson Kristine Evangelista, DA 12 OIC Regional Executive Director Sailila Abdula and Gensan Mayor Lorelie Pacquiao.
