A total of 33 modules which include feeds, veterinary drugs, and 99 “sentinel” piglets from DA XII were distributed to the beneficiaries from the barangays of Naci, Duengas, Lamian, and Colongulo.
The sentinel pigs will undergo 40-day clinical trial period to determine if the virus or disease is still present in their area.
Remy Haguisan said, “Laking pasasalamat ko sa DA 12 dahil isang malaking opportunity po sa amin na magkaroon ng panibagong mapagkikitaan para sa aming ikabubuhay.”
Surallah Municipal Mayor, Pedro Matinong, Jr., also thanked the DA 12 for supporting the hog raisers in their municipality.
“Ang Surallah municipality ay nagpapasalamat po sa inyong suporta sa aming mga hog raisers sa pamamagitan ng inyong programa upang makatulong sa kanilang panghanapbuhay,” Mayor Matinong said.
