2-day Training | Adaptation and Mitigation Initiatives in Agriculture (AMIA) and Mainstreaming Climate Resilient Agriculture (MCRA) in partnership with the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) conducted two (2) day “Training on Market Support & Market Financing” in General Santos City last July 25-26.

The said activity was participated by the different AMIA Villages in the municipality of Malapatan specifically the Lun Masla Farmer Association (LUMAFA), Lun Masla Small Farmers Association (LUMASFA), and Ugnayan ng Magsasaka sa Montilla Association (UMMA).

Training the AMIA farmer-associations on market support and market financing is vital for their economic success; and the overall growth of their agricultural productivity as well as strengthening their resiliency and adaptation to the effects of climate change. It equips the AMIA villages with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in a competitive market environment while contributing to food security and rural development.
