The ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐จ๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ – ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ (๐๐-๐๐๐๐) ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ conducted a two-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Banana Production from November 18 to 19, 2024, at Hoff Mansion in Kidapawan City.
The training covered advanced cultivation techniques, post-harvest processes, pest and disease management, and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), including requirements for PhilGAP certification.
Key speakers were Mr. Johnny H. Pasaquian from the Agricultural Training Institute and Ms. Aiza Mae N. Godones, Agriculturist II from DA-RFO 12. The SAAD Food Production and Livelihood Unit, led by Ms. Elma L. Delante, facilitated the event, and Mr. Rey M. Domingo of APCO Cotabato Team Leader also in attendance.
The initiative aims to equip SAAD personnel with technical expertise, enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting sustainable farming in Soccsksargen.
