Wrapping up an insightful two-days training session on Urban Vanilla Farming. The objective of the training was to equip the participants with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully cultivate vanilla in urban environments.
These include understanding vanilla’s growth requirements, adapting techniques for city spaces, and managing urban-specific challenges to ensure a successful yield. The said training, led by the Department of Agriculture XII through National Urban Peri Urban Agriculture, was held at Paraiso Verde Resort, Koronadal City, on September 16-17, 2024.
