Young farmer awardees coming from different municipalities in Region 12 convened for the Young Farmers Challenge Regional Summit 2024 on July 16-17, 2024 in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.
The summit include a business forum and lectures on other programs for youth from the DTI, ATI, ACPC, and a discussion of YFC participants with invited resource speakers.
Regional Executive Director – Roberto T. Perales in his speech, gave honor and praise to the young farmers for choosing farming as their business ventures. He added that farming is not an easy task. It takes a lot of dedication and hardships.
He also visited each young farmers’ exhibits and had a small talk with them.
Given that these young generations are engaged to farming activities, it is undeniable that they have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to technological innovation, sustainable farming activities, and engagement to communities.
Their dedication and passion sets them apart as exemplary leaders and heroes of this generation.
