Today, May 07, 2024, the Department of Agriculture 12’s 4ks Program took a significant step towards promoting sustainable agriculture in Sultan Kudarat.
Regional Soils Laboratory Team delivered lectures on Proper Soil Sampling and Fertilizer Management for the Indigenous People of Barangay Sto. Niño, Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat.
The program aimed to equip the community with essential knowledge and skills to improve agricultural practices while preserving the environment. After the lectures, participants engaged in hands-on field sampling demonstrations, enhancing their understanding of the concepts discussed.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to empower local communities and ensure the sustainability of agriculture in the region.
